A Peasant’s Voice

by Justin John Scheck

The final installment in a 4 Album Series spanning just 2 years is now completed with Justin John Scheck’s latest creation, A Peasant’s Voice.

The Album is 12 songs of Genre defying moments, from Electronic Rock to Synth Pop to Alternative Rock backed mainly by Strings and a Gospel Choir.

It was captured in improvised outbursts over a 3 month period.    The Artist set out to write an Album about the current condition of The United States, but it turned into a very Spiritual Album and undertaking.  As the Artist describes it, “Through improvisation, I attempted, as always when creating, to tap into the Collective Unconscious and hold up a mirror to the Soul.”

The Sparrow’s Morning War Cry (Remastered 2024)

by Justin John Scheck

Just a few month's removed from "an emotionally driven masterpiece that breeds elements of a multitude of genres…. all done with a certain haunt and edginess to it that has a way of grabbing at you.” (Buzz Slayers) — Justin John Scheck has created a new Album, the 3rd of 4 Concept Albums in a Series entitled The Blue Collar Diaries.

This time around, it all started with Electric Guitar and Drums. It is an ode to Grunge, Industrial Music, Blues Rock and Trip-Hop.

What the Artist/Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer claims he swung for was "As if Tom Waits and Kurt Cobain went back to the 19th Century and taught Pirates about music and music Production.

The Sparrow’s Morning War Cry is sometimes melancholy Dance music, and sometimes nearly all String Arrangements and Choir Sections.

Conceptually the Album is about JJS’s struggles with Mental Illness and Addiction.

Get In Line For Now!  You Won't Want To Miss It.

by Justin John Scheck

Written and recorded over a 5 day period at the peak of a manic state, Artist/Producer Justin John Scheck created what he defines as an Album about manic love both romantic and non-romantic.

JJS claims he hasn’t so much as held a woman's hand in over 6 years.

"I'm basically asexual. It has always haunted me. This overwhelming feeling of a higher calling", and as he puts it, "You can't serve the people and serve yourself." And this is precisely what the album is about.

"And now that Kanye West came out as a Nazi, I feel it is even more important to represent those of us who are Bipolar and struggling to be understood. I'm not trying to sell anyone any shoes either."

Get In Line For Now is his 2nd Concept Album in just over a year. To say he has been Prolific is simply accurate.

Fresh out of school at Full Sail University where he received a Certificate in The Audio Arts, the beauty of the Songs and Mix the Artist admits has increased at a pace he wishes had been quicker, but says that for the first time he's comfortable with the process from start to finish, hence, 5 days to write and record, and 2 weeks to Mix and Master.

Sonically the Album is a look back at Grunge and Psychedelic Rock, R&B and Hip-Hop and Dream Pop as well as a look ahead to Trip-Hop and Indie Rock and Indie Pop.

Once again, all proceeds gathered via Album sales, Digital Downloads and Streams will go to Hope House in Kansas City, Mo, the city the Artist now calls home.

The Evening Years: Dance Songs For The Lonely (Remastered 2024)

by Justin John Scheck

Artist/Producer Justin John Scheck’s Debut Album released in May, 2023.

It is the 1st of 4 Concept Albums in a series entitled The Blue-Collar Diaries. It’s an experimentation with Electronic Music and Grunge and Dance Pop.

The Artist uses an MPC, electric guitar, midi keyboard and computer, blending Hip Hop, Indie Garage Rock, and Indie Pop Production styles.

The album is a collection of love songs and dance songs. Love lost, love found, love pined for. It is a walk down memory lane for the artist, and a bit of describing a summers day in the midst of winter.
